    Dear OHS Member,

    The Society’s 2019 Conference, in association with Llafur and Britain at Work, will be hosted and supported by Swansea University on the theme of Oral History @ Work: Recording Change in Working Lives.

    We are pleased to announce that booking for the conference is now open! Further information on how you can book your place can be found on the OHS’ website: https://www.ohs.org.uk/conferences/conference-2019/

    A discounted conference fee rate is offered to OHS Members, self-funded students, pensioner and the unwaged.

    Keynote Speakers
    Arthur McIvor, Professor of Social History and Director of the Scottish Oral History Centre at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland
    Tom Hansell, documentary film maker and installation artist, Appallachian State University
    Beth Thomas, former Keeper of History & Archaeology at Amgueddfa Cymru and content lead for the redevelopment of St Fagans National Museum of History

    There will be a Welsh medium strand to the conference for contributions in the Welsh language. Simultaneous translation will be available for non-Welsh speakers.
