The Oral History Centre at the Alexander Turnbull Library, Wellington is offering the following training:

The Essentials of Oral History Research - Day One Saturday 18 February, Day Two Saturday 24 March (2 full days)

Abstracting Oral History - 21 and 22 April (2 half days)

Education Grants

Applications close on 14 February for the Ilott Oral History Education Fund. The purpose of the fund is to promote standards in the use of oral history technique as a means of documenting New Zealand’s past and contemporary history. For more details and the application form here

National Library Redevelopment

The building which houses the National Library of New Zealand, the Alexander Turnbull Library (and the Oral History Collection), is now closed to make way for the building redevelopment.
